Night Shift Staff Nurse

Deanston House Nursing Home is seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and experienced Registered Nurse to join our night team. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to our residents, ensuring their health, wellbeing, dignity, and comfort throughout the night.

Working closely with the care team, you will support residents with a range of nursing and healthcare needs while maintaining the highest standards of clinical practice and person-centred care.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver safe and effective nursing care to residents.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with NMC guidelines and company policies.
• Monitor, assess, and respond to residents' changing healthcare needs.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and care plans.
• Provide leadership and support to care staff on shift.
• Liaise with healthcare professionals, residents, and their families as required.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practice standards.

Essential Requirements

• Current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN).
• Previous experience working in a UK care home or nursing home environment.
• Experience caring for older adults.
• Excellent clinical, communication, and leadership skills.
• A caring, professional, and person-centred approach.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently during night shifts.

Pay: £19.00-£23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 11.0 – 44.0 per week
