We are looking for a caring, reliable and committed Night Support Worker to join our team at Ashgrove, a supported living service in Reigate.

About the Role

As a Night Support Worker, you will help ensure that the people we support remain safe, comfortable, respected and well supported throughout the night.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing person-centred support in accordance with individual support plans and risk assessments.
• Supporting people with their individual night-time routines and needs.
• Carrying out appropriate welfare and safety checks.
• Responding calmly and appropriately when someone needs support during the night.
• Supporting personal care where required while maintaining privacy and dignity.
• Supporting with medication.
• Monitoring and reporting any changes in a person’s health, wellbeing or behaviour.
• Responding appropriately to emergencies, incidents and safeguarding concerns.
• Maintaining a safe and comfortable environment.
• Completing accurate and professional records.
• Completing appropriate household and night-time duties without unnecessarily disturbing the people who live at Ashgrove.
• Providing a clear and effective handover to the day team.
• Promoting independence rather than automatically doing things for people.

Previous experience in supported living, learning disabilities, autism or health and social care would be beneficial.
