Night Sweeper

This position is Nights and Weekends

Summary:

The Sweeper Driver must complete scheduled routes and miscellaneous work orders as needed. Much of this position involves the maintenance of commercial properties’ exterior lots and facilities, changing trash liners, blowing debris from the perimeter of the parking lots, clearing moss, pressure washing, spill control, and Winter services. This individual must be punctual and dependable and can follow safety and company rules/regulations.

Job Duties:

• Operate power sweep (truck) in assigned parking areas as assigned by your route
• Power blow (gas powered) sidewalk and curbs of assigned areas
• Hand clear Hardscaped areas and Landscape beds
• Change garbage-can liners & lids
• Spill Control - Pressure wash, sweep, and reclamation
• Winterize, De-icing, shoveling, spreading De-icer, Plowing services
• Complete routes as scheduled and promptly and report hazards found onsite.
• Complete all other requests made by the supervisor or management

Specific qualifications for the Sweeper Driver position include:

• Driving—The candidate Must have a clean driving record and a current, valid State Driver’s License. The candidate must also be able to obtain and retain a DOT Medical Card.
• Language - The ability to read and interpret documents and use a handheld smartphone data device that provides information such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Dependability - Arrives to work consistently and on time, ensures work responsibilities are covered when absent, arrives at meetings and appointments on time, completes tasks on time or notifies a supervisor with an alternate plan.
