Night Van Driver

We are a family-run wholesale dairy based in Watford, looking to recruit a Night Van Driver to join our expanding team. We pride ourselves on our workplace culture, which is why many of our staff members have been working with us for over 10 years.

We operate under an Employee Ownership Trust (EOT). This means our team holds a direct stake in our success and shares in our profits. When the company does well, you do well – including receiving a tax-free annual bonus of up to £3,600 on top of your salary!

The Role

· Delivering dairy and other morning goods to our customers across London and the surrounding area.

· Loading and checking your van before each run, so orders go out complete and correct.

· Handling stock safely and keeping products in good condition throughout delivery.

· Completing delivery paperwork and reporting any issues on the night.

· Working Monday – Friday with some Saturdays (paid as overtime).

· Full time, permanent. 40 hours a week.

· Night work (12.30-1.30am start).

This is a hands-on, active role, and there is room to progress within the company as you develop.

The Salary

· £30,160 per annum including bonuses

· Additional tax-free EOT bonus of up to £3,600 (estimated bonus for 2026 is around £1,500)

· Overtime paid separately.

If you’d like to move up to HGV driving, we will fully fund & support you through your training (optional).

Skills and Requirements

· Full UK driving licence.

· No major convictions and no more than 6 points on licence.

· Good level of English. Applicants should have good communication skills, both written and verbal.

· A good standard of literacy and numeracy skills.

· Happy to HGV train the right candidate if this is of interest.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

· Be reliable, punctual and have a strong work ethic.

· Be a confident, safe driver who knows how to look after a vehicle.

· Take pride in getting deliveries right and on time.

· Be comfortable working independently at night.

· Have some experience in delivery, warehousing or logistics – useful but not essential.

· Be in good general health and able to meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting and carrying stock.

Pay: £27,040.00-£33,760.00 per year
