Night Warehouse Manager

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Night Warehouse Manager to oversee operations during the overnight shift. 5 Nights per week Monday to Friday The successful candidate will be responsible for managing warehouse activities, ensuring efficient processes, and maintaining safety standards. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a logistics professional with supervisory experience to lead a Small team and optimise warehouse performance using advanced systems and continuous improvement strategies.

Duties

• Supervise night-time warehouse operations, including shipping & receiving, inventory management, and order fulfilment.
• Oversee the utilisation of Warehouse Management Systems
• Manage transportation logistics, coordinating with 3PL providers and ensuring timely dispatch and receipt of goods.
• Lead process improvement initiatives to optimise workflow, reduce waste, and enhance overall efficiency.
• Operate or oversee the operation of forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and effectively.
• Monitor health and safety compliance, conducting regular inspections to identify potential hazards.
• Manage staff scheduling, training, and performance during the night shift to ensure productivity standards are met

Requirements

• Proven supervising experience within a warehouse or logistics environment.
• Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) & (TMS )
• Knowledge of supply chain principles, logistics operations, shipping & receiving procedures, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience with 3PL providers and managing third-party logistics relationships.
• Forklift certification or experience operating forklifts safely is essential.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to lead teams during overnight shifts while maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on process optimisation and process improvement initiatives.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: £41,600.00-£46,800.00 per year
