Night/Weekend. Dispatcher /Customer Service

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dispatcher/Customer Service Representative to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and support while managing inquiries related to transportation and logistics. Your expertise in various systems and your ability to communicate effectively will be essential in ensuring customer satisfaction and smooth operations.

Duties

• Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and multi-line phone systems, ensuring a professional and courteous interaction.
• Utilize GIS, GPS, and transportation management systems to assist customers with their logistics needs.
• Manage data entry tasks accurately while maintaining customer records in Oracle Transportation Management and SyteLine.
• Coordinate shipping and receiving processes, ensuring timely dispatching of freight.
• Analyze transportation planning and supply chain issues to provide effective solutions.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues related to fleet management and logistics.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of 3PL operations and support the dispatching process as needed.
• Provide insights based on analysis skills to improve service delivery and operational efficiency.

Skills

• Proficiency in GIS, GPS, Oracle Transportation Management, SyteLine, AS400, and transportation management systems.
• Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette for effective customer interactions.
• Ability to perform data entry tasks with accuracy while managing multiple priorities.
• Knowledge of logistics, supply chain management, transportation planning, and freight operations.
• Experience with shipping & receiving processes and fleet management is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical skills to assess situations quickly and provide appropriate solutions.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
