No Experience CDL A Dedicated Driver

Weekly home time. Georgia Pacific dedicated dry van account.

We're looking for CDL-A drivers to join a dedicated regional lanes. Both trainee and first-seat experienced solo drivers are encouraged to apply. Drivers get home once a week, though the schedule varies - some head out Sunday and roll back in Friday, while others start Monday and wrap up Saturday. We currently have 3 solo seats open.

COMPENSATION

• Average weekly pay: $1,300 - $1,550
• $2,500 Sign on Bonus
• Mileage rate: $0.64 - $0.75 per mile
• Weekly bonus for performance, safety, and service: $225
• Short-haul rate: $40 for runs under 100 miles
• Average weekly miles: 2,000
• Weekly pay cycle

• Freight handling: Live loads, live unloads, preloads, and drop-and-hook
• Coverage area: Eastern region, spanning FL, GA, NC and SC
• Time at home: Weekly
• Shift options: Day and night

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

• Active Class A CDL
• Residence within 50 miles of one of our approved hiring cities
• A clean driving history
• Ability to pass a DOT physical exam and pre-employment drug test
• Endorsements: none needed

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Drive a Class A dry van across dedicated lanes in the East region
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Keep ELD logs accurate and up to date
• Stay compliant with all DOT and safety regulations
• Be available to work every holiday except Christmas
• Stay in touch with dispatch throughout pickup, delivery, and the trip overall

ACCOUNT OVERVIEW
This dedicated lane supports Georgia Pacific with regional coverage throughout the East. Drivers return home weekly and earn a performance, safety, and service bonus on top of their per-mile rate. Route timing depends on the driver - some run Sunday to Friday, others Monday to Saturday.
