NOC Engineer

EHB Technologies Limited is looking for a NOC Engineer to join our IT Infrastructure and Operations team. The NOC Engineer will be responsible for monitoring network and infrastructure environments, responding to alerts and incidents, troubleshooting connectivity and system issues, and supporting the availability and reliability of critical IT services.

The role involves working with network, server, security, and monitoring systems while coordinating with internal IT teams and service providers to resolve incidents within defined timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor networks, servers, firewalls, VPNs, and critical IT infrastructure.
• Monitor network availability, performance, connectivity, and device health.
• Respond to alerts, incidents, and service degradation.
• Troubleshoot TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, routing, switching, and connectivity issues.
• Monitor Windows and Linux environments.
• Perform initial diagnosis and troubleshooting of network and infrastructure issues.
• Escalate critical incidents to relevant internal teams, vendors, or service providers.
• Maintain incident logs, operational reports, and shift handover documentation.
• Coordinate with ISPs and vendors for incident resolution and service restoration.
• Support network maintenance, infrastructure changes, and operational activities.
• Follow defined monitoring, escalation, and incident management procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in NOC, Network Operations, or IT Infrastructure.
• Good knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, and switching.
• Basic understanding of firewalls, VPN, NAT, and network security.
• Experience with network and infrastructure monitoring tools such as Zabbix, Grafana, OpenNMS, or similar platforms is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of Windows and Linux administration.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and incident-handling skills.
• Ability to work effectively with internal teams, vendors, and service providers.
• Willingness to work in rotational shifts.

Preferred Certifications

• CCNA
• Fortinet FCF / FCA
• CompTIA Network+

Pay: Rs45,000.00 - Rs60,000.00 per month

Education:

• Bachelor's (Preferred)
