NOC Engineer

• Manage and coordinate NOC applications and approvals for engineering, infrastructure, building, and development projects.
• Prepare, review, and coordinate NOC submissions, drawings, technical documents, method statements, and supporting documentation.
• Coordinate with relevant government authorities, utility providers, and service departments to obtain required NOCs and approvals.
• Ensure submissions comply with applicable authority requirements, project specifications, and UAE regulations.
• Follow up on NOC applications and approvals and maintain accurate records of submission status, comments, revisions, and approvals.
• Review authority comments and coordinate with internal engineering teams to address and close comments within required timelines.
• Liaise with project managers, design engineers, site teams, contractors, and clients regarding NOC requirements and approval status.
• Identify potential NOC and authority-related issues at an early stage and coordinate appropriate solutions.
• Attend coordination meetings with clients, contractors, consultants, and authorities when required.
• Maintain NOC trackers, approval registers, correspondence logs, and project documentation.
• Monitor submission and approval schedules to ensure NOCs are obtained in line with project requirements and construction timelines.
• Support the project team in understanding authority requirements and incorporating them into design and construction activities.
• Coordinate multiple NOC applications simultaneously across different projects.
• Ensure all approved drawings, permits, NOCs, and authority correspondence are properly documented and readily accessible.
• Provide regular updates to project management on outstanding NOCs, approvals, risks, and required actions.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in NOC coordination, authority approvals, infrastructure, construction, or engineering consultancy.
• Mandatory: Previous experience working on projects in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
• Strong understanding of UAE authority approval and NOC processes.
• Experience working within an engineering consultancy, contractor, infrastructure company, or project management environment.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Strong coordination and follow-up skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple submissions and deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and document management systems is an advantage.
• UAE driving licence is an advantage.
