NOC Engineer

NOC Engineer - SC Cleared

Our client is an IT Services orgsniation that are currently recruiting for a NOC Engineer. The NOC Engineer will be working for a key account. This is a hybrid role, based in Gloucestershire.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide 2nd Line support across customer network environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve Cisco and Fortinet networking issues.
• Own incidents from investigation through to resolution.
• Escalate complex issues to senior engineers and vendors.
• Maintain accurate tickets, documentation and time records.
• Work within SLA targets and support managed service customers.
• Participate in on-call support and customer site visits when required.

Requirements

• Strong Cisco Routing, Switching and Wireless experience.
• Experience with Cisco and Fortinet security technologies.
• Knowledge of ASA, ISE, Firepower, FortiOS, FortiManager, Catalyst Center and Nexus.
• Previous NOC, MSP or Network Support experience.
• Understanding of ITIL and change management processes.
• CCNA/Fortinet certifications desirable.
• Full UK driving licence.
