NOC Engineer (MSP / Network Infrastructure)

In this role, you will handle advanced technical escalations, troubleshoot complex network infrastructure, and manage critical operational incidents across multi-client environments. This position balances deep hands-on network troubleshooting with active technical coordination across field engineers, hotel/property staff, third-party vendors, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

Advanced Network & Infrastructure Support

• Resolve complex network, connectivity, Wi-Fi, and server infrastructure issues escalated from Tier 1 and Tier 2 support teams.
• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot switches, firewalls, wireless controllers (WLCs), access points, and routers across client environments.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) on recurring network failures across LAN/WAN, VLANs, IP addressing, DHCP, DNS, and VPN configurations.

Monitoring, Incident Response & Escalation

• Oversight of client networks using enterprise monitoring platforms to detect performance bottlenecks, latency, and packet loss.
• Take ownership of critical network incidents, driving resolution within target SLA timelines.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to lower-level support specialists on complex tickets.

Technical Coordination & Stakeholder Communication

• Coordinate directly via phone and email with field technicians during on-site hardware dispatches and site surveys.
• Facilitate technical bridge calls with third-party vendors (ISP, VoIP, Video, PMS platforms) and client property teams during major outages.
• Maintain clear ticket records, SOPs, topology documentation, and post-incident reports.

What We Are Looking For

• Experience: 3+ years in Network Support, NOC, MSP Operations, Network Engineering, or Infrastructure Escalations.
• Core Technical Expertise: Hands-on experience with core IT infrastructure—Switches, Firewalls, Wireless Access Points, LAN/WAN, VLANs, TCP/IP, DHCP/DNS, and VPNs.
• Strong Communication Skills: Ability to clearly explain technical issues to non-technical stakeholders and lead operational calls during critical incidents.
• Problem-Solving Mindset: A proactive approach to investigating alerts, performing diagnostics, and carrying issues through to resolution.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with platforms such as Meraki, MikroTik, Ruckus, Aruba/HP, Fortinet, or Cisco.
• Experience supporting hospitality networks (hotels, PMS integrations, guest Wi-Fi, MDU environments) is a strong plus.
• Familiarity with enterprise monitoring (SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios, Zabbix) and ticketing platforms.
• Industry certifications (CCNA, Network+, CWNA, Fortinet NSE) are preferred but not mandatory.
