NOC Manager

For our client, we are seeking a NOC Manager to join the team of a leader in the Retail & Consumer Goods space.

This role will oversee day-to-day Network Operations Center activities, ensuring service delivery is timely, accurate, and aligned with client commitments. The manager will lead a team supporting metro fiber network operations, while serving as a key point of contact for client coordination and reporting. Success in this position will require strong leadership, technical oversight, and the ability to keep multiple priorities moving in a fast-paced operational environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $136,668 – $170,834 annually

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily NOC operations and ensure timely task completion
• Act as the primary liaison for client coordination and relationship management
• Manage, coach, and evaluate NOC staff performance
• Assist with hiring and training new team members
• Ensure SOP and MOP documentation is accurate and understood by the team
• Lead special projects as assigned
• Provide required reporting to clients as specified in contract obligations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 10+ years of Network Operations experience, specializing in fiber networks
• 5+ years of supervisory or managerial experience
• Expert understanding of metro fiber service delivery
• Knowledge of optical testing tools and methods
• Expertise in Layer 1/2/3 protocols and network monitoring systems
• Strong communication and multitasking skills under pressure
