We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for those you care for, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This position requires a nurturing attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively with individuals with diverse needs.

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate NOC Shift Caregiver to provide exceptional care and support to residents during overnight hours. In this vital role, you will ensure the safety, well-being, and comfort of individuals with diverse needs, including seniors and those with cognitive or developmental disabilities. Duties

• Monitor residents’ safety and well-being throughout the overnight shift, responding promptly to their needs or emergencies
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, ensuring dignity and respect at all times
• Observe and record vital signs, health status updates, and behavioral changes to inform care plans
• Administer medications accurately following prescribed protocols and document all medication activities diligently
• Support residents with memory care and dementia-related behaviors using compassionate behavior management techniques
• Maintain a clean and safe environment by assisting with light housekeeping tasks like cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation as needed
• Communicate effectively with team members, residents, and families to ensure seamless care delivery

Requirements

• Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or residential care homes is highly preferred
• Knowledge of Alzheimer's disease, dementia care, memory care strategies, and behavior management techniques
• Certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and First Aid is required; ongoing training encouraged
• Ability to operate standard passenger vehicles safely when necessary for resident outings or errands
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities or cognitive impairments is a strong plus
• Physical ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting safely while adhering to safe patient lifting practices
• Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and team collaboration
• Demonstrated understanding of resident rights and confidentiality standards in healthcare settings
