Job Summary

XYUG Technologies Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced Node.js Developer with 3–4 years of hands-on experience in backend development. The candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing scalable backend applications and APIs.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend applications using Node.js.
• Design, develop, and integrate RESTful APIs.
• Work with databases and ensure efficient data management.
• Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues.
• Collaborate with frontend developers and other team members.
• Integrate third-party APIs and external services.
• Optimize application performance and scalability.
• Participate in code reviews and follow development best practices.
• Test applications and ensure quality and reliability.
• Maintain technical documentation related to developed applications.
• Understand business requirements and convert them into technical solutions.

Mandatory Skills

• 3–4 years of professional experience in Node.js development.
• Strong hands-on experience with Node.js.
• Good knowledge of JavaScript / TypeScript.
• Strong experience in developing REST APIs.
• Good knowledge of Express.js or similar Node.js frameworks.
• Working knowledge of MongoDB / MySQL / PostgreSQL.
• Understanding of Git and version control.
• Good understanding of backend architecture and database concepts.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS / Azure / cloud services.
• Knowledge of Docker.
• Experience with Redis / caching.
• Knowledge of authentication and authorization such as JWT/OAuth.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience working with third-party API integrations.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should have strong backend development skills, good problem-solving ability, and practical experience building and maintaining Node.js applications. The candidate should be able to work independently as well as collaborate effectively with the development team.
