Node JS Team Leader

Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced and leadership-driven Node.js Team Lead to spearhead our backend engineering team. In this role, you will define technical strategy, architect highly available server-side components, and manage the complete software development lifecycle (SDLC). Beyond your technical expertise, you will act as a mentor, guiding junior and mid-level developers, resolving technical roadblocks, and aligning engineering outcomes with corporate milestones.

Technical Leadership & Architecture

• System Design: Architect, build, and maintain low-latency, high-availability, and highly secure Node.js applications and services.
• API Development: Direct the design, implementation, and optimization of robust, scalable RESTful APIs and WebSockets for real-time systems.
• Database Modeling: Oversee data modeling and optimize query performance across SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) database structures.
• Modern Paradigms: Implement and enforce clean microservices architecture, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and event-driven patterns.
• DevOps Integration: Collaborate with DevOps teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines, automate deployments, and manage cloud infrastructure on platforms like AWS or Azure.

Team Management & Delivery

• People Management: Mentor, coach, and support backend developers to cultivate a continuous learning culture.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct constructive code reviews, establish coding standards, and proactively tackle technical debt.
• Sprint Accountability: Partner with Project Managers to scope features, estimate effort, manage technical escalations, and guarantee on-time sprint deliveries.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as the technical point-of-contact for UI/UX designers, frontend application developers, and corporate stakeholders

Leadership & Soft Skills

• Experience: Typically requires 5+ years of overall backend development experience, featuring at least 1–2 years in a dedicated Team Lead or Lead Developer capacity.
• Problem Solving: Exceptional debugging, performance diagnostic, and critical thinking capabilities.
• Communication: Clear verbal and written presentation skills to effectively explain deep technical concepts to non-technical partners.
• Education: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or an equivalent engineering field is generally preferred

Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per year
