Located in Randwick, this is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and experienced leader who enjoys mentoring educators, building strong relationships with families, and creating a positive centre culture from the ground up.

As the Nominated Supervisor, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the service, ensuring the delivery of exceptional education and care while maintaining compliance with the National Quality Framework. You'll lead and inspire a team of educators, establish a strong workplace culture, and play a key role in the successful opening and ongoing growth of the centre.

  • Act as the Responsible Person in Charge (RPIC) when required.
  • Ensure the service operates in accordance with the National Quality Framework, National Regulations and National Quality Standard.
  • Support educators in implementing high-quality educational programs aligned with the EYLF and Montessori Curriculum.
  • Establish and drive a positive team culture focused on collaboration, continuous improvement and professional development.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with children, families and the local community.
  • Oversee centre operations including staffing, compliance, administration and occupancy growth.
  • Support Assessment and Rating readiness and Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) initiatives.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider management team to successfully establish and grow the new service.

About You

You'll be an experienced childcare leader who is passionate about developing people, delivering exceptional outcomes for children, and creating a positive centre culture.

You'll also have:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience managing an early childhood education and care service.
  • Diploma or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (ACECQA-approved), or currently working towards.
  • Current Working with Children Check.
  • Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates (or willingness to obtain).
  • Strong understanding of the National Quality Framework, National Regulations, National Quality Standard and EYLF.
  • Excellent leadership, coaching and people management skills.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • Sound business and operational management experience.
  • Passion for high-quality early childhood education and the Montessori philosophy.
