We are seeking a motivated and dependable NON CDL 26ft OTR (Over-The-Road) Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 26ft box truck across designated routes, ensuring timely deliveries and pickups.
• Load and unload cargo using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts when necessary.
• Adhere strictly to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and traffic laws during all driving activities.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with maintenance standards.
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating professionally with clients during deliveries, addressing any concerns or questions.
• Use mobile devices or GPS systems to navigate routes efficiently and update delivery statuses accurately.
• Assist with warehouse operations when required, including moving goods, organizing inventory, and maintaining a clean work environment.

Qualifications

• Previous delivery driver experience, especially with box trucks or vans, is highly preferred.
• Warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse operations is a plus.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely using proper lifting practices; manual handling skills are essential.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; no CDL license required but must meet DOT requirements for non-CDL drivers.
• Knowledge of manual transmission vehicles is advantageous; comfort operating manual handling equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts is a plus.
• Strong understanding of traffic regulations, safe driving practices, and load & unload procedures.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
• Physical ability to handle weight in the workplace, including moving heavy items and performing manual tasks as needed.
