NON CDL BOX TRUCK DRIVER

In this energetic role, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods using a box truck that does not require a commercial driver’s license (CDL). Your enthusiasm for driving, customer service, and automatic handling will ensure timely deliveries and excellent service to our clients. Responsibilities

• Safely operate a box truck for OTR deliveries, adhering strictly to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards.
• Load and unload cargo using manual handling techniques, pallet jacks, or material handling equipment while following safe lifting practices.
• Manage delivery routes efficiently, utilizing mobile devices for navigation and communication.
• Assist with securing commodity with E-Bar and Straps
• Provide exceptional customer service by ensuring timely deliveries and addressing customer inquiries professionally.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure safety and compliance with heavy lifting and weight handling regulations.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and safety records in accordance with company policies. ELD logging knowledge preferred

Skills

• Proven experience in delivery driving
• Experience including manual handling, moving heavy loads, and operating material handling equipment such as pallet jacks.
• Knowledge of commercial truck driving principles, route planning, and adhering to traffic regulations.
• Ability to secure commodity
• Familiarity with DOT regulations related to weight handling in the workplace and safe driving standards.
• Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude during interactions with clients.
• Experience using pallet jack and lift gate.
