Job Summary

We are looking for reliable and hardworking Non-CDL Drivers / Movers to join a professional moving company in Jersey City, NJ.

The ideal candidate should have a valid Class D driver's license, a clean driving record, and the ability to safely drive moving trucks while assisting with loading, unloading, packing, and transporting customers' belongings.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate company moving vehicles using a valid Class D driver's license.
• Assist with loading and unloading furniture, boxes, and household items.
• Safely transport customers' belongings to and from locations.
• Properly secure furniture and other items inside the moving truck.
• Assist with packing, wrapping, and protecting furniture and household items.
• Assemble and disassemble furniture as required.
• Maintain an organized and safe moving truck.
• Provide professional and courteous customer service.
• Follow all company safety procedures and transportation regulations.
• Communicate professionally with customers and team members.
• Assist other movers with daily moving operations.
• Maintain the cleanliness and condition of company vehicles and equipment.

Requirements

• Valid Class D Driver's License.
• Clean driving record preferred.
• Previous moving or delivery experience is a plus.
• Ability to safely operate a moving truck.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy furniture and boxes.
• Physically capable of performing loading and unloading duties.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Preferred Experience

• Moving company experience.
• Non-CDL driving experience.
• Furniture delivery experience.
• Residential or commercial moving experience.
• Customer-facing service experience.

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
