Non-CDL Driver

Overview
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong understanding of route driving, the ability to handle heavy lifting, and experience with various types of vehicles, including box trucks. Duties

• Safely operate company vehicles, to transport goods to designated locations.
• Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of items during transit.
• Follow assigned routes and schedules while maintaining timely deliveries.
• Provide exceptional customer service during interactions with clients at delivery points.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
• Utilize equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts as necessary for loading and unloading tasks.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Experience in route driving and courier services preferred.
• Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) regularly throughout the day.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations is a plus.
• Proficient in operating manual transmission vehicles is desirable.
• Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients and address any concerns.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 60.0 – 65.0 per week
