Non CDL OTR Truck Driver

Duties

• Safely operate box trucks and personal vehicles for long-distance deliveries across multiple regions, following all DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and traffic laws.
• Load and unload cargo using manual handling techniques, pallet jacks, or material handling equipment while practicing safe lifting practices.
• Manage route driving efficiently by planning delivery schedules, navigating using mobile devices, and ensuring on-time arrivals at customer locations.
• Provide excellent customer service by delivering goods professionally, answering recipient questions, and ensuring a positive experience.
• Assist with warehouse operations including inventory management, material handling, and maintaining accurate delivery documentation.
• Load and secure cargo properly to prevent shifting during transit; perform routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
• Use manual transmission vehicles when required; operate equipment such as pallet jacks and load bars safely during loading/unloading activities.

Qualifications

• Previous delivery driver experience with a focus on commercial driving or courier services preferred.
• Warehouse experience including material handling equipment operation such as pallet jacks or forklifts is a plus.
• Ability to lift heavy items repeatedly while following safe lifting practices; comfortable with manual handling tasks.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating box trucks or vans is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations, traffic laws, weight handling in the workplace, and safe driving practices.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively via mobile devices or in person.
• Comfortable working in warehouse environments involving moving materials and adhering to safety standards related to heavy lifting and manual handling.

Pay: $25.95 - $31.25 per hour
