Non-Revenue Water Field Technician

Qualifications & Skills

• Technical/vocational diploma or degree in a related field (preferred)
• Experience in leak detection, flow monitoring, or water systems (advantage)
• Basic plumbing skills
• Knowledge of relevant tools (ultrasonic meters, loggers, test kits)
• Basic troubleshooting (mechanical/electrical)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Team player with ability to work independently
• Willing to work outdoors in varying conditions
• Driver’s license (preferred)

Key Responsibilities

Leak Detection & Monitoring

• Perform inspections using leak detection tools (acoustic devices, ground microphones)
• Trace pipelines and pinpoint leaks
• Use correlation devices and data loggers to assess NRW levels

Data Logger Deployment

• Install data loggers for 25-hour flow and pressure monitoring
• Ensure proper placement and accurate data capture
• Retrieve devices and secure collected data

Flow & Water Meter Testing

• Test flow meters using ultrasonic methods
• Conduct customer meter testing with portable kits
• Record and analyze results for accuracy and billing integrity

Data Collection & Reporting

• Document field activities and findings
• Prepare reports on leaks, meter testing, and equipment status

Health & Safety Compliance

• Follow safety protocols and use PPE
• Identify and report workplace hazards

Other Duties

• Maintain and protect tools/equipment
• Participate in company activities and seminars
• Perform additional assigned tasks

Work Environment & Conditions

• Mostly outdoor fieldwork with travel
• Physically demanding (walking, lifting, bending)
• May require off-hours or emergency work

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From Php16,000.00 per month
