Aegis partners with a well-established manufacturer known for producing brass, bronze, and aluminum castings. As the operation continues to expand, multiple hands-on team members are being added in Bensenville.

If you bring a strong work ethic and want a long-term path in manufacturing, this role offers real on-the-job learning and growth. Prior foundry experience is not required.

A Day in the Role

Picture your shift moving through key stations on the foundry floor—prepping molds, assisting with furnace/pouring activities, and supporting clean room operations. You’ll handle and move materials across the facility, follow established safety procedures around foundry equipment, and wear the proper PPE at all times. With guidance and training, you will rotate through different parts of the production process to build your skills.

What You’ll Do

• Contribute to molding, pouring/furnace, and clean room operations
• Move and stage materials throughout the plant
• Work in proximity to foundry equipment while adhering to strict safety practices
• Consistently use required PPE and help maintain a safe, orderly environment
• Cross-train to learn multiple steps in the production workflow

What You Bring

• 1+ year of hands-on experience in manufacturing, construction, automotive, landscaping, general labor, or similar work
• Comfort operating in a hot, noisy, physically demanding setting
• Ability to lift up to about 50 lbs.
• Reliable, hardworking, and eager to learn
• Foundry experience is a plus but not required
