About the role

Nova Collection is a handmade jewellery shop on Tha Pae Road with over 30 years of silverware craftsmanship heritage. We run Nova Artlab, teaching silver jewellery classes to tourists from around the world, where they design and create silver rings and pendants by hand. Classes range from 1-day workshops to multi-day courses (maximum 6 people per day). We are looking for a permanent instructor with silver metalworking skills, patience, and a passion for teaching to help develop our classes, including new 2-hour classes and weekend Saturday–Sunday sessions. Initial training will involve learning and transferring knowledge with our team of craftspeople.

Key responsibilities

• Teach workshops (main responsibility)
• Teach basic silver ring and jewellery making, including sawing, filing, soldering, and polishing
• Ensure student safety during classes
• Explain concepts clearly, communicate in a friendly manner, and conduct classes in English
• Prepare equipment and assemble kits before class starts
• Clean, organise, and maintain tools and equipment
• Create sample pieces for display and social media
• Photograph student work (using mobile phone)
• Help develop 2-hour classes and manage walk-in students
• Assist with front-of-shop duties during non-class periods

About you

• Practical metalworking or silver jewellery skills (sawing, filing, soldering, polishing)
• English communication level
• Patient, good at explaining, enjoy teaching and service work
• Able to work Saturday–Sunday
• Background in jewellery, art, or crafts, or prior experience with tourists (highly considered; recent graduates with strong skills welcome)

Benefits

• Base salary 17,000 baht (15,000 baht during 3-month trial period)
• Teaching fee 200 baht per student per day (full-day classes)
• Teaching fee 100 baht per student (2-hour classes)
• Teaching fees paid from day one, including trial period
• Company covers full social security contributions (both employer and employee portions)
• Annual salary review
