Now Hiring: 2nd/3rd Shift Hybrid Supervisor – Manufacturing

Position Summary

We are seeking a strong, hands-on 2nd/3rd Shift Hybrid Supervisor with excellent communication skills, proven leadership experience, and the ability to build a strong, productive team. The ideal candidate will lead a team of 7–15 employees, support daily production operations, and ensure team members are properly trained to meet safety, quality, and productivity goals.

This position requires a hands-on leader who understands the daily responsibilities of their employees, can train new personnel, and is willing to learn and work alongside the team to maintain efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead a team of 7–15 manufacturing employees on 2nd and 3rd shifts.
• Build a positive team environment focused on communication, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
• Clearly communicate production expectations, goals, priorities, and performance feedback.
• Perform the duties of team members as needed to support production and effectively train new employees.
• Train on 1st shift for approximately 30 days to learn processes, procedures, equipment, and job responsibilities before transitioning to the assigned shift.
• Train, coach, and develop employees to ensure they follow established work instructions and safety procedures.
• Monitor production output, product quality, attendance, and employee performance.
• Troubleshoot basic equipment and process issues and coordinate maintenance support when necessary.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Communicate shift updates, production concerns, and equipment issues to management and other shifts.
• Help identify opportunities to improve productivity, quality, safety, and overall team performance.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to build, motivate, and develop a team.
• Hands-on experience performing production duties and training employees.
• General knowledge of industrial maintenance and mechanical systems.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to train on 1st shift for 30 days.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Willingness to lead by example and work alongside team members when needed.
