Now Hiring: Interpreters - Spanish, Haitian Creole, Portuguese

Lexikon LLC is hiring on-site interpreters for workers' compensation appointments (doctor visits, physical therapy, and IMEs) at facilities across Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach Counties. You'll help injured workers and their providers communicate clearly while keeping every patient's information confidential (HIPAA).

Job Details

• Independent Contractor (1099), Monday-Friday, flexible: accept the assignments that fit your schedule

• $25-$40 per hour, depending on language, experience, and certification

• 2-hour minimum per appointment

• $0.40 per mile beyond a 20-mile radius

• Paid by Zelle or direct deposit, net 30

• You choose the areas you want to work in when you apply, and assignments go to facilities near where you live. It all depends on where you live.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English and Spanish, Haitian Creole, or Portuguese

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• 1+ year of medical interpreting experience preferred

• Certification (CCHI/NBCMI, CHI/CMI) is a plus but not required

• Knowledge of medical terminology and interpreting ethics

• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license required

• Background check required
