NPD Documentation Engineer

Location: Hadapsar, Pune.

Department: New Product Development (NPD)
Experience: 3-5 Years
Industry: Automotive / Engineering / Manufacturing

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain NPD documentation as per company and customer requirements.
• Maintain APQP, PPAP and product development records throughout the NPD process.
• Coordinate with NPD, Quality, Production, Tool Room, PPC and Engineering teams for documentation.
• Prepare and maintain Part Submission Warrant (PSW), Control Plan, Process Flow Diagram (PFD), PFMEA and inspection documents.
• Maintain drawing, BOM, specifications and engineering change records.
• Coordinate for sample development, trials and validation documentation.
• Ensure timely submission of PPAP documents and customer-specific requirements.
• Maintain records of customer approvals, deviations and changes.
• Track NPD project timelines, action points and document status.
• Maintain proper document control, revision history and traceability.
• Support internal and external IATF 16949 / customer audits by providing required NPD records.
• Follow up with concerned departments for pending documents and approvals.
• Prepare NPD status reports, trackers and MIS.
• Ensure confidentiality, accuracy and proper filing of customer and product-related documents.

Required Skills

• Knowledge of APQP, PPAP and IATF 16949
• Knowledge of PFMEA, Control Plan and Process Flow
• Understanding of engineering drawings and BOM
• Good MS Excel and MS Office skills
• Document control and record management
• Good coordination and follow-up skills
• Knowledge of NPD / automotive manufacturing processes
• Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
