Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced NPD Head to lead end-to-end New Product Development activities, from customer requirements and feasibility to successful product launch and production handover.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead end-to-end NPD projects from RFQ to SOP.

* Review customer drawings, specifications and conduct product/process feasibility.

* Lead APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plan, MSA and SPC activities.

* Coordinate product development, tooling, fixtures, prototypes and trials.

* Manage NPD timelines, milestones, costing and project status.

* Coordinate with Customer, Design, Tool Room, Production, Quality, Purchase and PPC teams.

* Handle customer technical discussions, approvals and engineering changes (ECN).

* Ensure smooth transition of new products from development to mass production.

* Drive cost reduction, VA/VE, process improvement and manufacturability.

* Lead and develop the NPD team and ensure timely project completion.

Required Skills

* Strong knowledge of Automotive NPD and APQP/PPAP.

* Good understanding of plastic injection moulding, tooling and assemblies.

* Ability to read engineering drawings and understand GD&T.

* Strong project management, problem-solving and customer-handling skills.

* Knowledge of IATF 16949 and automotive customer requirements preferred.

* Experience in OEM/Tier-1 automotive component industry preferred.
