What they need
NPD - Sheet Metal Part Developer
Responsibilities :
- Handle new sheet metal part development from development to production.
- Coordinate press tool development and sample approval.
- Check and approve press tool samples as per drawing requirements.
- Knowledge of Press Machine and Sheet Metal Processes.
- Perform part inspection using Vernier, Micrometer and other measuring instruments.
- Identify dimensional issues and coordinate for tool corrections.
- Read engineering drawings and understand dimensions and tolerances.
- Coordinate with Tool Room, Production and Quality teams for successful part development.
Required Skills:
NPD, Sheet Metal Part Development, Press Tool, Press Machine, Sample Approval, Part Inspection, Engineering Drawing, Basic GD&T and Measuring Instruments.
