NPI Engineer

Responsibilities

1. Industrialization input — Work with corporate R&D from early development to define manufacturing specifications and flag production risks and limits.

2. Pilot production — Support pilot runs with R&D and factory engineering; collect, validate and lock a reliable process & parameter package.

3. Mass-production readiness — Build the final factory acceptance report confirming the product meets mass-production requirements; assess budget, waste, documentation, training, quality and test needs.

4. Production approval — Approve first mass production and green-light autonomous local production.

5. Knowledge transfer — Move process know-how (training, procedures, best parameters) from the pilot site to other production sites.

6. Continuous improvement — Track local modifications, ensure best parameters are replicated everywhere, and drive improvements through new materials, equipment and processes.

Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Electronics or a related engineering field.

2. 0-4 years in NPI, industrialization, manufacturing or process engineering, with hands-on experience ramping new products into mass production.

3. English working proficiency (spoken & written) — you'll work with global R&D and facilities teams.

4. Solid grasp of pilot-to-mass-production workflow, factory acceptance, and production quality requirements.

5. Ability to write and maintain technical documentation (process specs, parameter packages, reports).

6. Strong cross-functional coordination with R&D, quality and factory engineering teams; structured and analytical, comfortable owning decisions across sites.
