NPI IE Engineer

Job Responsibilities

1. Lead Industrial Engineering (IE) planning during the New Product Introduction (NPI) phase, including production line layout optimization and standard time measurement.​

2. Develop and optimize process flows, work instructions, and production line balancing plans for new products to ensure a smooth ramp-up to mass production.​

3. Collaborate with R&D, Quality, and Production departments to resolve process issues during trial production and drive Design for Manufacturability (DFM) improvements.​

4. Establish cost models for new products and apply Value Engineering (VE) analysis to reduce manufacturing costs and improve overall production efficiency.​

5. Manage NPI project schedules and coordinate cross-functional resources to ensure timely and high-quality product delivery from trial production to mass production.​

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree or above in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Experience in the electronics or semiconductor industry is preferred.​

2. Familiar with NPI processes and Lean Manufacturing systems, with strong knowledge of the Seven QC Tools for Industrial Engineering (IE). Proficient in AutoCAD, Excel, and other relevant tools.​

3. At least 3 years of IE experience in the manufacturing industry. Successful experience in leading mass production introduction projects for large-scale electronic products is a strong advantage.​

4. Strong data analysis and logical thinking skills. Proficiency in English as a working language is preferred.​

5. Able to work under pressure and adapt to a fast-paced working environment, with excellent communication, coordination, and teamwork skills.
