NPI Senior Engineer – Audio

Location: Vasai East, Maharashtra
Experience: Minimum 4 Years
Qualification: Diploma / Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field

Key Responsibilities:

• Own end-to-end NPI activities for the assigned audio product category from BOM validation with Raw Material, sample builds and pilot production to process validation and mass-production (MP) release.
• Develop manufacturing process flows (PFC), Standard operating Procedure (SOP) and ensure readiness of production lines, tooling, fixtures, equipment, and test stations.
• Drive NPI process for Soundbars, Party Speakers, Bluetooth speakers, and other audio products Covering SMT/PCBA, final assembly, and CKD/SKD processes.
• Perform and coordinate functional testing, Bluetooth/RF connectivity checks, firmware flashing, SPL measurement, and end-of-line (EOL) testing.
• Knowledge about firmware testing as per UI check list for audio product
• Troubleshoot product and manufacturing issues through root cause analysis (RCA), corrective actions, yield improve, and process stabilization, PFMEA & control plan
• Coordinate with CFT Team - Production, Quality, R&D, NPD, OPM, and Supply Chain teams to ensure successful product validation and on-time MP release.

Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years of experience in NPI, Process Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering within consumer electronics.
• Strong understanding of electronics manufacturing, assembly processes, functional testing, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with PFMEA, Control Plans, Process Flow, SOPs/WIs, and NPI validation reports.
• Hands-on knowledge of Bluetooth connectivity, firmware validation, SPL measurement, and test equipment.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, power point, PVT/PP reporting, and technical documentation.
• Prior audio product experience preferred.

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
