NPI Senior Engineer – Power

Location: Vasai East, Maharashtra
Experience: Minimum 4 Years
Qualification: Diploma / Degree in Electronics, Electrical, Engineering, or a related field

Key Responsibilities:

• Own end-to-end NPI activities for the assigned power product category, from sample builds and pilot production to process validation and mass-production (MP) release.
• Develop manufacturing process flows (PFC), Standard operating Procedure (SOP) and ensure readiness of production lines, tooling, fixtures, equipment, and test stations.
• Drive NPI for Power banks, Power adapters, and related power products, covering SMT/PCBA, battery integration, mechanical assembly, final assembly, and CKD/SKD processes.
• Perform and coordinate functional testing, charging/discharging tests, voltage and current measurements, battery performance checks, protection-function validation, and end-of-line (EOL) testing.
• Troubleshoot product and manufacturing issues through root cause analysis (RCA), corrective actions, yield improvement, and process stabilization.
• Coordinate with CFT - Production, Quality, R&D, Engineering, OPM and Supply Chain teams to ensure successful product validation and on-time mass-production release.

Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years of experience in NPI, Process Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering within power electronics and EV products
• Strong understanding of electronics manufacturing, PCBA, battery-powered products, adapters, and final assembly processes.
• Hands-on knowledge of electrical testing, charging/discharging validation, voltage/current measurement, and relevant test equipment.
• Experience with PFMEA, Control Plans, Process Flow, SOPs/WIs, and NPI validation reports.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, power point, PVT/PP reports and technical documents
• Prior experience with power banks, adapters, chargers, or other power electronics products is preferred.

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
