NPI Technician

Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensures that all machines and production equipment run smoothly to meet daily production target.
• Monitors the performance of machine and equipment being used in the production line and respond immediately to any machine trouble that may arise such as but not limited to machine parameter adjustments and minor repairs.
• Endorses to EED, in coordination with Production Engineer, machine troubles, which in their judgement, after several attempt to repair (1 hour) , cannot be repaired by themselves after exhausting all efforts in trying to repair the said machines.
• Makes countermeasure report for problems encountered, conduct analysis and make recommendations to prevent re-occurrence of the problem.
• Monitors the calibration schedule of inspection, measuring and test equipment and refer to EED for calibration. (everyday confirmation-Process Tech)
• Provides assistance to Production Engineers in generating procedures, work instructions, one-point lessons and checksheets for process standardization.
• Works closely with the Production Engineer in all aspects of process improvement.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

• Knowledge of Equipment installation, maintenance, repair and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of machines (like winding and molding machines) and tools including their design, uses, repair and maintenance.
• Computer literate.
• Judgment and decision making, effective communication and interpersonal skills, time management.

Education / Work Experience

• Graduate of a Technology course or college level in an engineering course
• 6 months work experience as maintenance or production technician in a semiconductor/electronics manufacturing company.

Pay: Php20,000.00 - Php26,000.00 per month
