Basic Job Functions: The role of the Cold Mill Mechanical Utility includes but is not limited to, safely perform general housekeeping/shop organization, assist with mechanical maintenance on breakdown repairs, work with mechanical maintenance during down days and outages, perform preventative maintenance, and support the Cold Mill with an emphasis on mechanical equipment and issues in a demanding work environment. The purpose of this position is to provide an opportunity to train, learn and gain experience with the intention of becoming a mechanical technician. Must have the ability to work rotating shifts and scheduled and unscheduled overtime including nights, holidays and weekends.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in an industrial or a similar career field
• Mechanical Maintenance and troubleshooting experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Welding and Fabrication skills
