About the role

Syngenta is looking for a passionate and detail-oriented NSPP Field Technician to support corn nursery operations and field trial activities at our Tak Fa R&D Station. This role plays a critical part in ensuring high-quality field trials, maintaining seed quality standards, and supporting breeding and product development programs.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct corn nursery activities at both on-station and off-station locations.
• Prepare and maintain field readiness for planting activities.
• Ensure planting is completed within the required planting window.
• Support the implementation of digital and field technologies, including SPIRIT, Trial Mapping, and EZCapture.
• Perform trait calibration and accurate data collection at the appropriate crop growth stages.
• Coordinate effectively with demand owners and cross-functional teams.
• Support harvesting and post-harvest activities.
• Follow Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) standards and promptly report incidents, accidents, hazards, or near misses.
• Contribute to quality initiatives and maintain compliance with company quality standards.

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Plant Breeding, Seed Technology, or related field.
• Basic knowledge of plant breeding, seed production, and crop management.
• Understanding of field operations including land preparation, irrigation, fertilization, and pest management.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with agricultural digital tools or data collection platforms is an advantage.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Good planning and organizational skills.
• Results-oriented with strong attention to detail.
