NSW Audio-Visual Service Technician

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnosing and resolving faults for AV systems including video conferencing, digital signage, audio systems, control systems, and displays.
• Back filling On-Site Technicians providing first-line support when required.
• Conducting Preventative Maintenance calls to ensure optimal performance.
• Providing technical advice and recommending solutions for AV/UC related issues.
• Liaise with internal teams and external vendors for escalated issues.
• Configuring AV and UC systems as required.
• Building positive client relationships through clear, professional communication.
• Producing accurate service reports and maintaining good ticket records of work completed.

Key Experience & Capabilities:

• Experience in AV installation, support, or maintenance.
• AV experience with audio, video and control systems.
• Familiarity with AV platforms and tools (e.g. Crestron, Extron, Zoom, Teams, Cisco Webex).
• Knowledge of video conferencing systems and networking principles (LAN/WAN).
• Experience in fault-finding, reading AV schematics, and working with DSPs.
• Strong PC skills including O365 and MS Teams.
• A current Construction White Card and valid Driver’s Licence.
• Industry certifications and accreditations (preferred).
• Proactive, organised and proven reliability as a part of a team with excellent communication skills.
