Nurse Assistant / Clinical Tech Instructor

Job Overview:

We are seeking a flexible, adaptable, and experienced Clinical Tech / Nurse Assistant Instructor to join our team in Camarillo, CA. In this role, you will leverage your hands-on clinical and administrative background to teach, demonstrate, and mentor students enrolled in our Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training program. You will assist in practical skills lab sessions, guide students through essential patient care techniques, and travel to clinical training sites within Ventura County as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Skills Instruction & Demonstration: Demonstrate, teach, and evaluate core patient care skills, including bathing assistance, dressing assistance, bed linen changing, patient room cleaning, and incontinence care.
• Lab & Clinical Supervision: Lead hands-on practice sessions and clinical site training, ensuring students perform skills safely, accurately, and according to state guidelines.
• Administrative & Workflow Support: Manage class records, track student progress, coordinate administrative duties, and support daily operations with efficiency and adaptability.
• Student Mentorship: Provide constructive feedback, answer clinical questions, and support students in mastering both basic patient care and clinical administrative workflows.

Qualifications:

• Active California Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required.
• Minimum of 1 year of Administrative experience required.
• Prior experience in Direct Patient Care required.
• Ability and willingness to travel to clinical sites within Ventura County.
• High level of flexibility, adaptability, and strong communication skills.
• Spanish speaking preferred.
• Ability to reliably commute to Camarillo, CA 93012.

Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
