Lister House Medical Clinic is a privately owned medical practice that has been serving the Horsham community since 1936 and has experienced significant growth over recent years.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Enrolled Nurse to join our friendly and supportive team on a part-time basis. The number of days and hours may be tailored to suit both the clinic's needs and the successful candidate's availability.

Lister House Medical Clinic has 18 Doctors, as well as hosting medical students and visiting specialists. Our nursing team currently consists of 8 experienced nurses with expertise in diabetes education, treatment room procedures, chronic disease management, care planning and health assessments, supported by a dedicated team of more than 15 administrative and support staff.

Some of the Duties performed in the role include but are not limited to:

• Assisting GP’s with Minor Procedures
• Wound Care and Dressings
• Injections and Immunisations
• ECG, Audiometry and Spirometry
• Maintaining Treatment Rooms to accreditation standards
• Triaging patients and prioritising of emergency situations
• Assist patients with Careplans & Health Assessments
• Cold chain management

Qualifications, Skills and experience

• Enrolled Nurse
• Current AHPRA registration with a mimimum of 2 years experience
• Ability to work autonomously and as a strong team player
• Excellent communication and relationship building skills
• Competency with technology and ability to learn the required software
