Nurse

Schoolhouse Pediatrics is a fast-paced and growing pediatric practice in the Capital District with three office locations. We are in need of a full-time Nurse for our Coxsackie location, but are willing to consider candidates seeking part-time employment.

Qualifications and skills needed:

• Friendly and personable

• Able to multitask and work efficiently

• Able to establish a compassionate environment by providing emotional and psychological support to patients and their families

• Able to help establish patient care goals and provide health education and promotion

• Able to maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations

• Able to effectively communicate in verbal and written formats

• Able to administer oral, IM, subcutaneous, intradermal, and inhaled medications and immunizations

• Able to perform point of care testing as needed, including nasopharyngeal and pharyngeal swabs, capillary blood draws, and urine collection

• Proficient computer skills
