About the role

Peridou Inc. is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nurse to join our healthcare team in Quezon City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and support within our organisation. Key responsibilities

• Assessing and monitoring patients' health status, including vital signs, symptoms and overall wellbeing
• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by medical practitioners
• Providing direct patient care including wound management, hygiene support and comfort measures
• Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records and medical documentation
• Communicating effectively with patients, families and members of the healthcare team regarding care plans and progress
• Assisting with diagnostic procedures and laboratory tests as required
• Supporting patients with activities of daily living and mobility assistance when necessary
• Identifying and reporting changes in patient condition to medical practitioners promptly
• Adhering to infection control protocols and maintaining a safe, clean healthcare environment
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care

What we're looking for

• Current registration or licensure as a Nurse with the appropriate regulatory body in the Philippines
• Formal qualification in nursing, such as a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent qualification
• Proven experience in clinical nursing practice within a healthcare setting
• Strong knowledge of nursing practices, patient care protocols and healthcare regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations
• Ability to work independently whilst collaborating effectively within a team environment
• Compassion and empathy for patients and a genuine commitment to providing quality patient care
• Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate medical records
• Physical and mental stamina to manage the demands of nursing practice
• Current CPR/BLS certification is preferred
• Experience in specific healthcare settings such as hospitals, clinics or community health centres would be advantageous
