Job Summary

The service is operated by NBG Healthcare Limited, a care provider with a clinical leadership team grounded in decades of primary care, regulatory, and complex nursing experience. We are looking for a experienced Healthcare assistant to join our care team at our Chestnut Rise Nursing Home (purpose-built, 21-bed residential care facility delivering 24-hour residential nurse-led care to adults with complex needs).

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse to join our healthcare team delivering care to elderly people. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient centred care, ensuring the well-being of patients, and supporting medical staff with essential clinical duties. Duties

• Deliver comprehensive patient care, including monitoring vital signs and assessing patient needs
• Administer prescribed medications accurately and safely, adhering to established protocols
• Assist with medical procedures and support diagnostic tests as required
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records in compliance with legal and organisational standards
• Educate patients and their families on health management, treatment plans, and post-discharge care
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care
• Ensure infection control procedures are strictly followed to maintain a safe environment
• Respond promptly to emergency situations, providing immediate assistance when necessary

Experience

• Proven experience working as a Nurse in a hospital or carehome setting is preferred.
• NMC registration is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of Medicine administration with patient centred care
• Demonstrated competence in medication administration and patient care procedures
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to empathise and provide reassurance to patients.
• Patient handling, and working with patients with frailty condition.
• Relevant nursing qualifications recognised by the appropriate regulatory body
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £24,801.35-£36,000.00 per year
