Nurse

About the Role:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled RN or LPN to join our home health care team providing one-on-one care for an injured patient who receives 24/7 skilled nursing support in a private home setting.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct bedside nursing care, including assessments, medication administration, and monitoring of vital signs
• Assist with tracheostomy care, catheter care, and daily living activities as needed
• Provide tracheostomy care, including suctioning, cleaning, and monitoring airway patency to ensure safe and effective breathing support
• Perform routine trach tube changes and emergency trach management as needed
• Ensure proper placement of the tracheostomy tube for effective ventilation during bedtime
• Monitor for and promptly address any complications related to the trach
• Maintain accurate documentation of all care provided
• Communicate effectively with the care team and family members to ensure continuity of care
• Respond promptly to any changes in the patient’s condition
• Preferred experience with TBI, diabetes management, and paraplegia

Requirements:

• Active RN or LPN license in the state of Michigan
• Current CPR certification
• Prior experience in home health, critical care, or rehabilitation preferred
• Ability to work independently and provide compassionate, high-quality care
• Reliable and professional demeanor

Schedule:

• 12-hour shifts

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rate based on experience

Base Pay: From $28.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
