Role Description The Nurse will work as part of the clinical team to support endoscopic obesity treatments and related gastroenterology and nutrition services in an on-site role located in Lisbon. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing patients for procedures, assisting physicians during endoscopic interventions, monitoring vital signs, and providing post-procedure care and instructions. The Nurse will coordinate patient follow-up, reinforce nutritional and lifestyle guidance, manage clinical documentation, and contribute to infection control and safety protocols. This is a part-time position requiring flexibility to support patient schedules and clinic needs. The Nurse will collaborate with physicians, nutrition professionals, and administrative staff to ensure high-quality, compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Clinical nursing skills in patient assessment, monitoring, and post-procedure care, preferably in gastroenterology or endoscopy settings.
• Strong patient education and counseling abilities, with a focus on weight management, lifestyle changes, and treatment adherence.
• Effective teamwork and communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary medical and nutrition teams.
• Attention to detail in clinical documentation, adherence to safety and infection control protocols, and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Valid nursing license and registration in Portugal; prior experience in outpatient or clinic environments is an advantage.
• Ability to work on-site in Lisbon on a part-time schedule, with a patient-centered, empathetic, and non-judgmental approach.
• Basic proficiency with electronic health records and common clinical software; knowledge of obesity treatment pathways is a plus.
