Nurse Medical Center Asian Institute of Technology

General Function:

The main responsibility of this position is to conduct medical laboratory test, performing special diagnostic test (electrocardiography), as well as other nursing procedures and services.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Laboratory & Diagnostic Support

   • Conduct blood test and draw specimens
   • Prepare, label, and dispatch laboratory specimens to external partner hospitals, and track test results.
   • Perform electrocardiography (ECG) testing as required.

2. Nursing and Primary Care

   • Manage Medical Center operations during shifts when part-time physicians are off duty.
   • Conduct preliminary patient health assessments and dispense approved initial/over-the-counter medications in accordance with facility protocols.
   • Provide general nursing care, first aid, and immediate emergency care.
   • Assist physicians during clinical procedures and diagnostic examinations.

3. Administrative & Operational Support in collaboration with the full time Nurse

   • Maintain and update accurate patient electronic/paper medical records daily.
   • Oversee laboratory tracking logs and follow up on pending patient reports.
   • Manage patient billing, collect fees, and reconcile/deposit payments with the Finance Office daily.

Qualification requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N.) with an active Registered Nurse license to practice in Thailand.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a student-centered approach to healthcare.
• Empathetic, compassionate, and patient-focused demeanor.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.
