Nurse Construction Site

Event Medic Services is seeking a qualified and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to serve as the primary and sole medical provider at a construction site in Las Vegas, Nevada.

This is a full-time assignment scheduled to begin in January 2027, with an anticipated contract duration of approximately 18 months. The site operates Monday through Saturday, with scheduled shifts from 5:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The selected provider will work a rotating weekly schedule of approximately 20–40 hours per week to support the client's active site schedule of up to 60 hours per week.

The ideal candidate will have strong medical and trauma assessment skills, sound clinical judgment, and the ability to work independently in a construction environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Basic Life Support (BLS) and medical care as needed for construction site personnel.
• Act as the primary and sole medical provider onsite.
• Perform thorough medical and trauma assessments and provide appropriate treatment.
• Respond to medical emergencies, injuries, and other incidents occurring on-site.
• Complete daily incident reports and maintain accurate patient care documentation.
• Recognize potential safety concerns and communicate relevant findings to appropriate site personnel.
• Follow applicable emergency response protocols and maintain professional communication with workers, subcontractors, and management.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and professional medical response environment.

Required Qualifications

To be considered, candidates must meet all of the following requirements:

• Hold a current Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
• Have current and prior relevant professional experience, with strong medical and trauma assessment and treatment skills.
• Be able to work independently as the sole medical provider on-site.
• Commit to the anticipated 18-month assignment.
• Live within a reasonable commuting distance of the Las Vegas job site.
• Have reliable transportation.
• Possess an OSHA 10-Hour Construction Safety certification or be willing to complete the online certification before the required deadline.

Candidates with experience in emergency medical care, trauma centers, hospitals, construction sites, or occupational medicine are strongly encouraged to apply.

Compensation and Equipment

• Pay Rate: $30.00 per hour.
• Overtime: Paid when applicable under the terms of the assignment and applicable law.
• Schedule: Rotating weekly schedule, approximately 20–40 hours per week, Monday through Saturday.
• Shift Hours: 5:00 AM–3:00 PM.
• Contract Duration: Approximately 18 months.
• Start Date: January 2027.

Event Medic Services will provide the medical supplies and equipment necessary for the assignment, along with uniform shirts, safety vests, and hard hats.

Initially, the selected provider will be responsible for supplying their own medical BDU pants and protective hard-toe work shoes.
