Nurse Educator

Quest Training (RTO 0812) is a family-owned training organisation based in Belconnen. We train people to work in aged care, disability and community services across the ACT. We are part of the Quest Group, together with QuestCare, a registered NDIS and Support at Home provider, so our training is grounded in what happens in the sector every day.

We are looking for a Registered or Enrolled Nurse who enjoys teaching to join us as a casual trainer and assessor. You would work one to two days a week, and we will plan the training schedule around your availability.

What You'll Do

• Deliver face-to-face training in accredited courses from Certificate III to Diploma level, including Individual Support, Disability, Mental Health and Community Services
• Deliver skill sets such as Assist Clients with Medication
• Run non-accredited staff training in manual handling, medication, PEG, catheter, bowel care and epilepsy management
• Mark student assessments online in Canvas LMS
• Assess fairly and accurately, in line with the Standards for RTOs 2025 and the Privacy Act
• Take part in validation and moderation, and help keep our training resources up to date
• Keep student records accurate and current

What You'll Need

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse
• TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent (essential)
• Recent experience in aged care and/or disability
• Good communication skills and patience with students from different backgrounds
• ACT Working with Vulnerable People registration and a current Australian driver licence
• Availability for at least one day a week
