Nurse : IPD

Manipal Hospitals is seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Nurse for our Inpatient Department (IPD). The Senior Nurse will play a vital role in providing high-quality nursing care to patients, overseeing nursing staff, and ensuring compliance with hospital policies and standards. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, excellent leadership abilities, and a commitment to patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering comprehensive nursing care to patients in the IPD.
• Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans.
• Supervising and mentoring junior nursing staff.
• Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated patient care.
• Maintaining accurate medical records and documentation.
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and infection control protocols.
• Conducting regular ward rounds and patient assessments.
• Participating in continuous professional development and training programs.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor?s Degree in Nursing (B.Sc. Nursing) or equivalent.
• Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid nursing license.
• Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, preferably in an inpatient setting.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Leadership and team management abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in using hospital management software and electronic health records (EHR).
