Nurse Manager

About the role

This is a nursing leadership position responsible for managing and controlling nursing standards before, during, and after surgery, ensuring patient safety, and overseeing nursing teams across OR, Recovery Room, Treatment, and nursing assistant staff.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and control nursing standards throughout pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative phases
• Ensure patient safety through readiness assessment and monitoring for complications
• Supervise nursing teams in OR, Recovery Room, Treatment, and nursing assistants
• Develop and enhance Nursing SOP, Clinical Protocol, Checklist, and Nursing Records
• Maintain standards for Infection Control, Medication Safety, and Emergency Management
• Verify readiness of medications, medical supplies, equipment, and emergency devices
• Develop and evaluate Clinical Competency with coaching for nursing teams
• Review Clinical Incidents, Near Miss events, and complaints with preventive guidelines
• Monitor KPI and prepare for healthcare facility standard assessments

About you

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Nursing Science
• Valid and current nursing and midwifery license
• Minimum 5 years nursing experience and at least 2 years team management or supervisory experience
• Experience in operating room, recovery room, surgery, or anesthesia is highly valued
• Knowledge of Patient Safety, Infection Control, Medication Safety, and healthcare facility standards
• Leadership capability with skills in workforce planning, team development, and emergency decision-making
• Problem analysis and process improvement skills with data-driven management approach
• High sense of responsibility with strong communication and coordination with physicians and other departments
• Ability to work flexible service schedules and respond to emergency situations
