Nurse Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Nurse Manager to lead and coordinate nursing services within a dynamic healthcare environment. Duties

• Work alongside the Director of Nursing, leading and supervising nursing staff, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and ongoing professional development.
• Oversee daily clinical operations ensuring adherence to facility policies, safety protocols, and regulatory CMS standards
• Collaborate with IDT as well as physicians to develop a plan of care
• Manage patient assessments, vital signs monitoring, medication administration, IV infusion procedures, catheter care, and other clinical interventions with precision and compassion.
• Ensure accurate medical documentation using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like Point Click Care, and maintain comprehensive medical records for legal compliance.
• Facilitate discharge planning, case management, utilization review, and utilization management to optimize patient flow and resource utilization.
• Promote infection control practices and aseptic techniques to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and participate in QAPI meetings weekly

Requirements

• Valid RN/LPN license with current registration; RN preferred.
• Extensive experience in subacute setting, skilled nursing, short term rehabilitation
• Proven leadership skills with supervising experience in nursing management or team management roles.
• Strong knowledge of EMR/EHR systems, including Point Click Care and EPIC
• Critical care experience
• Familiarity with complex medical needs
• Excellent understanding of physiology knowledge related to patient assessment and anatomy knowledge for accurate diagnostics.
• Ability to work effectively with individuals with varying cognitive and functional limitations
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality of patient information; basic life support (BLS) certification required.
• Strong communication skills for triage processes, family planning discussions, discharge planning coordination, and health coaching.

Pay: $40.00 - $44.00 per hour
